Infinix Nigeria has rewarded customers with discounts, cashbacks, and raffle prizes as it hosted Afrobeats star Davido at its flagship store in Jabi Lake Mall, Abuja, recently.

The event attracted large crowds to the store, with customers taking advantage of price reductions on selected devices, cashback offers on premium models, and a raffle draw for household items, as Davido made an appearance to meet shoppers and fans.

Speaking with journalists at the event, the Exclusive Manager of Infinix Nigeria, Victor Ojetunde, said the event was designed to reward customers during the festive season while leveraging the brand’s partnership with its global ambassador.

Ojetunde said. “It’s a period of peak sales, so we use this opportunity to bring in the biggest brand ambassador that we have on board, who is Davido.” He explained that customers who visited the store on the day of the event enjoyed instant discounts and additional incentives tied to specific models.

“Any customer that walks in today, on this day when Davido is coming, can purchase any mobile phone at a discount of N5,000 on selected models,” he said. “We also have cashback for customers who will buy the 50 series or 60 High.”

Ojetunde added that Infinix introduced a raffle draw to further reward shoppers, with prizes ranging from electronics to household appliances. He noted that Davido’s involvement had already translated into higher footfall and stronger sales at the Abuja outlet.

Also speaking, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Harmony Group, Olusegun Adebayo, whose company owns the Infinix flagship store at Jabi Lake Mall, described the event as part of efforts to deepen customer loyalty.

“It’s been a wonderful journey with Infinix, and I believe in the Infinix brand,” Adebayo said. “Today we are expecting Davido to come to the store, meet with our customers, our VIP customers, and have a nice time with everybody.”

He said the decision to host the artist at the store was driven by a focus on customer experience rather than publicity alone.

“We are bringing him on board just for customers to have a nice time with him, cruise with him, vibe with him, and show our products also to customers,” Adebayo said. “It’s all about customers.”

Adebayo also highlighted after-sales support and warranty coverage as key benefits of buying from the flagship store. On new offerings, he disclosed that Infinix introduced new smartphone models alongside a full cashback promotion on selected devices.

He added that the Abuja outlet was the first Infinix flagship store not only in Nigeria but in West Africa, showing the brand’s strategic importance to the market. “For Infinix flagship store, this is the first one in Nigeria and in West Africa,” Adebayo said.

The event featured a brief appearance by the Afrobeats star Davido, along with gift packages for shoppers.
