Tango Brook Gets ISO Certification, Recommits to Data Security

Tango Brook Technologies Limited, a digital payment solution, has announced its achievement of International Security Organisation 27001:2022 certification, further strengthening its commitment to protecting customer data and maintaining the highest standards of information security.

In a statement on Sunday, the firm added that the accomplishment is significant for Brook Technologies, coming closely on the heels of its recent launch of the unified smart fuel management system Tango Fuel Card.

“Tango Fuel Card is Nigeria’s revolutionary technology-driven fuel and fleet management platform, empowering consumers and businesses with smarter tools to get the best value for their everyday fuel purchases and consumption. It provides access to physical payment cards accepted at all fuel stations nationwide with tools, detailed reports, insights, and analytics that help individuals, households, and organisations/fleet managers track and optimise fuel expenditure while preventing fraud,” the statement read in part.

International Organisation for Standardisation is a globally recognised standard that specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system within the context of an organisation. It also includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks, tailore the needs of the organisation. The certification is a significant achievement for Tango Brook Technologies, demonstrating its proactive approach to managing information security risks and protecting customer data. This accomplishment reinforces the company’s position as a trusted leader in the digital payment industry and underscores its commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and innovative solutions to its customers.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tango Brook Technologies, Obi Wemambu, said the certification is a testament to the company’s dedication to implementing robust security measures, managing risks, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer information.
