Genus, a player in Nigeria’s power solutions industry, has launched a new range of advanced solar inverters and lithium-ion battery systems to enhance access to reliable and efficient energy for homes and businesses.

In a statement, the firm explained that the latest Genus lithium power series offers faster charging, longer battery life, and higher energy efficiency in a compact, modern design. Genus noted that Simba Industries distributes the products locally.

The firm stated that the systems achieve a full charge within three to four hours, nearly three times faster than traditional alternatives, delivering improved performance and convenience for power-conscious users.

Spokesperson for Simba Industries, Sandeep Sharma, stated that the firm designed the new range to meet the practical energy needs of Nigerians.

He said, “The new Genus range has been developed to meet the practical needs of Nigerian consumers, delivering dependable performance, durability, and energy savings. These systems are engineered for high load capacity, quick recharge times, and long service life, while also reducing overall operating costs.”

Sharma added that the collaboration between Genus and Simba Industries reflected a shared goal of promoting energy independence through accessible, reliable, and cost-effective power solutions.

He said, “Together with Simba’s trusted service network, we’re providing a solution that delivers lasting value and reliability.”

The firms noted that the launch represents a major step in addressing Nigeria’s power reliability challenges and expanding the adoption of clean, technology-driven energy alternatives.
