Chief Executive Officer Lanre Ore of FiberOne Broadband will attend the Africa Tech Festival 2025, the continent’s largest gathering of technology leaders, innovators, and infrastructure pioneers, from 10–13 November at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

The Africa Tech Festival brings together global and African technology leaders to explore how innovation is reshaping sectors such as telecoms, financial services, healthcare, government, SMEs, retail, and manufacturing.

The event features international exhibitions, expert-led sessions, and networking opportunities focused on leveraging technology for enterprise growth and socioeconomic development.

“I will be attending Africa Tech Festival 2025, Cape Town: the continent’s largest gathering of technology leaders, innovators, and changemakers. From 10–13 November, I will be engaging with industry leaders, technology innovators, and infrastructure pioneers at the CTICC,” he wrote on LinkedIn.

With Nigeria’s internet penetration at 49.34 per cent and only 289,369 ISP subscribers in a population of over 234 million, FiberOne aims to showcase strategies to increase connectivity and support the country’s projected $29bn digital economy by 2025.

The executive and his team will be at the FiberOne booth in E2 Hall 1 to engage with industry peers and explore collaborative opportunities to strengthen Africa’s digital infrastructure.

FiberOne Broadband, Nigeria’s leading fibre-to-the-home internet service provider, has been undergoing a major network transformation in Lagos, aimed at delivering next-generation connectivity that is faster, smarter, and more reliable. The upgrade, which began in Anthony Village and Maryland, will extend to Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, and Oniru in the coming weeks, with other areas of Lagos to follow in subsequent months.
