Something special is bubbling again in Nigeria, and it comes with your name on it. Coca-Cola Nigeria has officially brought back its most loved global campaign, Share A Coke, with a spectacular launch in Lagos on October 23, 2025. The energy? Electric. The atmosphere? Pure joy. The message? Simple but powerful: sharing is what connects us all.

This time around, Coca-Cola promised the campaign’s return would be Big, Bold, and Better and they didn’t disappoint. Over 1,500 influencers, content creators, media professionals, brand partners, and Coca-Cola fans gathered for an immersive celebration that blended music, culture, creativity, and community.

The Lagos launch was nothing short of extraordinary. The event turned into a vibrant fusion of art, sound, and emotion, featuring an unforgettable lineup of Nigeria’s biggest music stars. Performances from Wande Coal, Odumodu Blvck, Falz, Shoday, FOLA, Ayo Maff, Aniko, DJ Shawn, Maze x Mxtreme, Rybeena, and more kept the crowd dancing and singing all night long.

But beyond the beats, the real magic happened in moments of connection. Guests got to personalize their own Coca-Cola cans at interactive customization zones, adding their names or those of loved ones. Watching people find their names printed on the iconic red can brought smiles, laughter, and plenty of photos that instantly flooded social media under the hashtag #ShareACokeNG.

To celebrate Nigerian youth culture and individuality, Coca-Cola also unveiled an exclusive collaboration with West African Fashion (WAF), a limited-edition Coca-Cola x WAF merchandise collection inspired by Gen Z creativity and streetwear. It was a perfect blend of style and storytelling, proving once again that Coca-Cola is more than a drink; it’s a part of the culture.

At the heart of Share A Coke is a simple but powerful idea: joy is even better when shared. Speaking at the launch, Mariam Khan, General Manager of Coca-Cola Nigeria, captured this perfectly. “This campaign is more than just names on bottles. It’s about creating real connections. When you hand someone a Coke with their name on it, you’re giving them something deeply personal: their identity, their moment, and their story. That’s what makes Share A Coke so special.”

To add a modern twist, the event featured digital activations where guests could scan QR codes on specially marked bottles to create their own personalized “Share A Coke Memory” keepsakes. It was a beautiful blend of nostalgia and innovation — a reminder that even as technology evolves, the feeling of connection remains timeless.

Yusuf Murtala, Senior Director and Head of Marketing, Coca-Cola Nigeria, explained, “We’re reintroducing a campaign with global heritage and giving it a modern Nigerian pulse. By combining personalization, digital interactivity, and community storytelling, we’re creating experiences that people want to share, not just products they want to buy.”

And according to Valerie Odubogun, Director of Frontline Marketing, the brand’s goal is to make every interaction meaningful. “We want Share A Coke to resonate at every touchpoint, from retail shelves to social spaces. It’s about sparking conversations, creating smiles, and celebrating the joy that comes from sharing a Coke with someone you care about.”

The excitement doesn’t end with the Lagos launch. Coca-Cola has rolled out a nationwide consumer promotion that’s just as thrilling as the campaign itself. From October 31 to December 31, 2025, Nigerians can win millions of naira in cash prizes, airtime vouchers, and other amazing rewards simply by sharing their Coke moments.

To participate, consumers need to buy a personalized 50cl Coca-Cola bottle with a Nigerian name, check under the crown for a code, and enter it on the campaign’s official platform to find out if they’ve won. Weekly cash prizes go up to ₦1,000,000, with instant airtime vouchers ranging from ₦100 to ₦1,000, plus other exciting giveaways that make sharing even sweeter.

It’s Coca-Cola’s way of saying thank you for being part of something special; a celebration of individuality, friendship, and togetherness that defines what it means to Share A Coke.

Share A Coke first captured hearts more than a decade ago by replacing the iconic Coca-Cola logo with real people’s names, turning a bottle into a symbol of connection. In Nigeria, it became more than a campaign; it became a cultural moment that inspired countless stories of friendship, love, and community.

Now, its 2025 return is reigniting that same spirit for a new generation. It’s not just about personalization, it’s about belonging, creativity, and celebrating what makes every Nigerian unique.

As Mariam Khan beautifully summed it up, “As we relaunch this iconic campaign, we’re not just reintroducing a product experience. We’re reviving a movement. Share A Coke is about joy, connection, and community. We want every bottle shared to represent a story, a smile, and a moment that brings people closer together.”

So, are you ready to share a Coke and win? Look out for your name on a bottle, grab a Coke for someone special, and keep sharing those moments. Because when you share a Coke, you share happiness and maybe even win big while doing it.
