Zeta Power Limited and Kara Finance Limited have partnered to provide installation and financing solutions for converting petrol- and diesel-powered equipment and vehicles to compressed natural gas.

The company said in a statement that this was a significant development aimed at mitigating the impact of subsidy removal and reducing the cost of energy in Nigeria.

The partnership, which was announced in Lagos recently, was described as a major milestone in Nigeria’s transition to cleaner energy.

Zeta Power, a CNG equipment supplier and installation company with extensive experience in the Nigerian market, joined forces with Kara Financ to offer 100 per cent financing options to qualified applicants.

The collaboration was announced at an event attended by key stakeholders from both companies.

Representing Zeta Power Ltd were the company’s Chairman and Chief Promoter of the CNG revolution, Mr. Adewale Adedeji and Mr Segun Aka-Bashorun, while the Kara Finance team was led by its top management officers.

“The new financing solution offers several benefits, including 100 per cent loan financing for qualified applicants, flexible repayment terms within a 12-month calendar, premium-quality CNG kits and systems with over 80 years of market support in Europe, America, and India, as well as onsite fuelling solutions available at competitive pricing,” Zeta Power said.

The partnership is expected to provide relief to Nigerians and businesses grappling with high energy costs and inflation. By making CNG adoption more accessible and affordable, Zeta Power Ltd and Kara Finance Ltd aim to drive a new wave of sustainable energy solutions across the country.

“We are proud to declare this product available for Nigerian people, businesses with fleets of vehicles, power generators, and boats in all our inland waterways. A new dawn in Nigeria has come, and we are committed to empowering our customers with cleaner, more affordable energy solutions,” the statement added.
