The Deeper Life Bible Church has announced a special series of Sunday services throughout January 2026, describing the programme as a spiritual launchpad for a “fruitful, fulfilling and victorious” new year.

According to a release from the church, the services will be held every Sunday at its international headquarters in Gbagada, Lagos, and across all Deeper Life Bible Church locations worldwide. The gatherings are expected to draw thousands of worshippers seeking spiritual renewal, healing, deliverance and divine direction.

“This is a season of fresh encounter with God,” the church said in a statement. “It is a time when lives are transformed, destinies are reset, captives are set free, and burdens are lifted.”

The General Superintendent of the church, Pastor William F. Kumuyi, will be ministering throughout the special services, which begin at 7:45 a.m. According to the organisers, the focus is on helping worshippers start the year on a strong spiritual note and set the tone for a rewarding experience throughout the year.

“This is not just another church programme; it is a divine appointment,” the statement added. “Every Sunday in January is an opportunity to connect with God’s inexhaustible power and step into a new season of victory.”

Members and non-members of the church are encouraged to take part in the services, bringing friends, family members, and anyone in need of healing or other divine interventions.

“Bring the sick, bring the broken, and come believing,” the church urged. “God is set to move mightily, and no one who comes in faith will return the same.”

The January services, church leaders say, are designed to set a positive spiritual tone for the year and reinforce Deeper Life’s message of holiness, faith, and dependence on God.
