In a moment of distinguished recognition for professional excellence and humanitarian leadership, Dr. Fatimah-Binta, Medical Director of Susamsss Hospital, Principal Consultant at S5 PR Communications, and Chief Executive Officer, HealthFeed Initiative NGO, has been conferred with three prestigious honours, affirming her growing influence across healthcare, public relations, and social impact.

The recognitions were presented at a high-profile summit held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, Yaba, drawing leaders from government, business, academia, and civil society.

At the ceremony, Dr. Fatimah-Binta received:

Doctor of Personnel and Human Resource Management (Honoris Causa)
Awarded by Highstone Global University, Texas, USA, following faculty recommendation and Board approval, in recognition of her professional excellence, leadership capacity, and measurable impact across both private and public sectors.

Leadtimes Africa Grand African Leadership Prize for Integrity, Transparency and Accountability in Service. Conferred by Leadtimes Africa to honour her contributions to ethical leadership, nation-building, and community development.

Induction into the Leadtimes Africa Hall of Fame (2025). In acknowledgement of her enduring influence in governance, healthcare advocacy, strategic communication, faith-based initiatives, and humanitarian service.

According to a press statement credited to Professor Buba S. Mshelia, Advisory Board Chairman of Leadtimes Africa Magazine and Co-Convener of the ceremony, the honours were awarded strictly on merit. He noted that recipients were selected through a rigorous process that prioritised demonstrable impact, integrity, and service, without bias or prejudice.

Dr. Fatimah-Binta was particularly recognised for her rare cross-sector footprint – bridging healthcare delivery, professional PR practice, stakeholder engagement, and grassroots humanitarian advocacy – an intersection increasingly critical in today’s reputation-driven and trust-sensitive environment.

The event also celebrated several eminent Nigerians. Dr. (Mrs.) Jummai Tutuwa Adamu, Director-General/CEO of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO), received the Leadtimes Africa Industrial Researcher of the Year Award, with Professor Mshelia describing her nomination as a reflection of her transformative role in Nigeria’s industrial research ecosystem.

Similarly honoured was Dr. (Hon.) Uriel Ezeh, Group Managing Director of UR 9 Group, who received the Leadtimes Africa Businessman of the Year Award for outstanding achievements across real estate, construction, agriculture, hospitality, energy, logistics, and asset management.

Other recipients of the Grand African Leadership Prize for Integrity, Transparency and Accountability included Dr. Azeez Abayomi Mustapha (CEO, AZ Logistics Ltd), Mr. QS Raheem Abdulbaki (CEO, Kwara State Procurement Agency), and Engr. (Dr.) Abubakar Sadiq Mustapha (GMD/CEO, Trade & Tech Group), who was also inducted into the Leadtimes Africa Hall of Fame and named an Advisory Board Member of Leadtimes Africa Magazine.

In the same vein, Highstone Global University, Texas, USA, conferred honorary doctorate degrees on other distinguished Nigerians, including Princess Layo Bakare Okeowo (CEO, FAE Ltd) and Arc. Emmanuel Moris of the Nigeria Police Force, who received a Doctor of Risk and Security Management (Honoris Causa).

Representatives of Highstone Global University were present at the ceremony, underscoring the international stature and credibility of the honours.

For Dr. Ahmadu Fatimah-Binta, the triple recognition stands as more than personal acclaim; it is a testament to a career defined by ethical leadership, strategic communication excellence, and an unwavering commitment to service – values increasingly essential in shaping credible institutions and trusted brands across Africa.
