The Unique Ways the Brand Is Nourishing Young Minds Across Nigeria

It’s not every day that you see a nationwide initiative reach thousands of students and create moments of happiness that brighten entire classrooms. Yet, that is exactly what Maltina’s Nourishment Tour continues to do.

Designed to nourish one million young minds, this nationwide tour continues to create several memorable moments while inspiring the next generation to learn, grow, and thrive.

Here are standout highlights from the Maltina Nourishment Tour.

One of the tour’s most remarkable achievements has been transforming nutrition education into an engaging, hands-on experience. Through interactive science experiments, students are learning how essential nutrients such as Vitamins A, B, and C, as well as Calcium, all found in Maltina, contribute to overall development, concentration, and academic performance.

From Government Comprehensive Junior College, Agege, to United Missionary Comprehensive College, Oyo; Government Science Technical college Area 3 Garki, Abuja, among others, several students have actively participated in practical demonstrations, making learning both exciting and relatable.

Another major highlight of the tour is Maltina’s collaboration with STEM Africa Fest, which is helping to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application.

Through hands-on activities and science demonstrations, students are gaining a deeper understanding of how nutrition supports learning, creativity, and self-expression. The experiences also encourage them to explore opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, empowering them to think beyond the classroom and imagine future possibilities.

The excitement reaches another level when Maltina’s Brand Ambassadors and creators join the tour. Maltina Brand Ambassadors, Oluwabukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (Kiekie) and Tomike Adeoye, returned to their alma maters, United Missionary Comprehensive College, Molete, Ibadan, and Maverick College, while child influencer Akorede Lawal (Son of D’Source), who is a lover of the brand, called for Maltina to come to his school, De Titus School, Ogombo, Lagos, where they brought their vibrant personalities and relatable presence to every session, inspiring moments with students as they participated in the tour’s activities.

Beyond the classroom, Maltina extended the impact of the Nourishment Tour through its partnership with Chess Masters 2026, Nigeria’s largest inter-school chess tournament.

Held on May 2 at the Eko Hotels and Suites Convention Centre, the competition brought together 750 young chess talents from 150 schools across Lagos. As students showcased strategic thinking, focus, and problem-solving skills, Maltina reinforced its commitment to nourishing minds and supporting intellectual development.

Speaking on the vision behind Nourishment Tour, Elohor Olumide-Awe, Portfolio Manager, Non-Alcoholic Drinks, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said,

“The Maltina Nourishment Tour is part of Maltina’s 50th year anniversary initiatives and it goes beyond school visits; it is about building meaningful connections with schools and communities across Nigeria while helping students understand the important link between nourishment and learning. As a nourishing malt drink enriched with Vitamins A, B, C and Calcium, Maltina supports the energy and focus students need to grow and thrive. Through the Nourishment Tour, we are bringing science to life and helping students see how what they consume fuels curiosity, thinking, and active learning. This initiative reflects Maltina’s long-standing commitment to nourishing young minds, with a clear plan to spark interest in science and continue to create meaningful impact across schools and communities for years to come.”

Beyond educational activities and partnerships, the tour’s greatest achievement has been creating joyful, meaningful experiences for young minds across the country.

With over 200,000 school children reached across multiple states, the Nourishment Tour continues to encourage young minds to make healthier choices while embracing learning in a fun and engaging way.
