OmniPay honoured distributors on its platform and introduced new payment and trade support solutions at its first Distributors’ Gala Night and Awards 2025.

The event, held under the theme “Together We Grow”, brought together distributors, partners and company executives to recognise the role of distributors in Nigeria’s supply chain.

Speaking at the event, OmniPay’s Business Head and Head of Finance, Vachan Lohia, said the company has delivered on its commitments to distributors made earlier in the year.

He noted that distributors continue to face challenges from currency volatility, rising costs and dependence on imported inputs, adding that OmniPay’s platform was designed to support working capital management and operational efficiency.

According to Lohia, the platform enables payments to manufacturers, reconciliation of transactions and the use of multiple virtual accounts, allowing distributors to receive payments from customers across different banks.

He added that the platform improves payment confirmation time and cash flow.

Lohia also said OmniPay plans to roll out additional features, including Sales as a Service, which allows distributors to place orders with manufacturers at a later date after locking in funds.

He further stated that the company will increase engagement with distributors and expand operations beyond Lagos and Abuja to other states.

OmniRetail Chief Executive Officer, Deepankar Rustagi, thanked distributors for their participation and said the company remains focused on supporting their growth.
