May & Baker Nigeria Plc has awarded KIMKY Pharmaceuticals and Enterprises N1.5m for contributing to pharmaceutical sciences and research in Nigeria, following the firm’s recognition as the winner of the 2025 May & Baker Professional Service Award in Pharmacy.

According to a statement, May & Baker presented the award to KIMKY Pharmaceuticals and Enterprises’ Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer, Kim Bot, during the 98th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria in Kano, honouring innovation and excellence in pharmacy practice.

The MD/CEO of May & Baker, Patrick Ajah, noted that the firm raised the award value from N1m to N1.5m to strengthen its commitment to promoting professional excellence, stating, “We believe in rewarding innovation and dedication that drive the growth of the pharmaceutical sector.”

Bot, who also serves as the Director General of the Plateau State Drugs and Medical Commodities Management Agency, thanked the PSN and May & Baker for recognising his contributions.

“This award is a great motivation to continue pursuing excellence and innovation in pharmacy,” Bot said.

May & Baker noted that its Professional Service Award in Pharmacy, instituted in 2005, recognises outstanding achievements by practitioners, researchers, and industry leaders, and has grown into one of the most prestigious honours in Nigeria’s pharmaceutical sector.
