Guinness Nigeria Plc has returned to profitability, posting a profit after tax of N26.3bn for the 15-month period ended September 30, 2025.

The brewer disclosed this in its unaudited financial statements filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Wednesday.

Guinness Nigeria’s revenue for the period rose sharply to N594.7bn, compared with N299.5bn recorded in the previous 12-month period ended June 2024. This revenue growth was driven by improved sales volume and pricing, which lifted its gross profit to N184.7bn after accounting for a cost of sales of N409.9bn.

The brewer reported a profit before tax of N43.8bn, a sharp turnaround from a pre-tax loss recorded in the prior period. After accounting for tax expenses of N17.5bn, the company ended the 15-month period with a profit after tax of N26.3bn.

The company’s unaudited statement of financial position showed total assets of N245.98bn, up from N226.13bn in the preceding period, reflecting a stronger balance sheet position. Total equity stood at N28.44bn, while total liabilities amounted to N217.54bn.
