Sets a new benchmark for hospitality in Nigeria, positioning the hotel to capture the festive spirit while offering world-class service.

Lagos Continental Hotel

The Lagos Continental Hotel has unveiled its Christmas package, promising luxury, culinary excellence, and family entertainment for the holiday season.

In a statement, the Lagos Continental Hotel described the initiative as a quest to “set a new benchmark for hospitality in Nigeria”, positioning the hotel to capture the festive spirit while offering world-class service.

Cluster Director of Marketing Richard Mutanda announced the hotel’s festive agenda, emphasising the creation of lasting memories for guests.

“At Lagos Continental, we believe the holidays are about creating memories that linger long after the decorations are taken down,” Mutanda stated.

He stressed that the packages are “designed to envelop our guests in warmth, wonder and world-class experiences that set a new benchmark for hospitality in Nigeria.”

The hotel will launch its festive calendar this weekend with an iconic Tree Lighting Ceremony in the lobby. The event will feature a choir, thousands of twinkling lights, a pop-up Christmas boutique by the Ginger Tree House, and curated holiday spirits from the Macallan Bar.

For food enthusiasts, the flagship restaurant, Ekaabo, is scheduled to host festive brunches and dinners, ranging from the Santa Brunch on 21 December to the Christmas Day Brunch, which will expertly blend Nigerian flavours with international classics.

Mutanda confirmed that the New Year’s Eve celebration at Sugar 52 will offer a spectacular experience, including live music, a champagne toast, and a prime view of the city’s fireworks display.

He added, “We have crafted a seamless transition from Christmas joy to New Year celebration, ensuring our guests experience a flawless blend of excitement and elegance.”

Families will also benefit from special provisions, including the Children’s Fun Village, which features creative workshops, a sip-and-paint session, and a special appearance by Santa. Parents can relax at the Gingerbread House with complimentary treats and hot cocoa.

The hotel is also extending benefits to wellness-conscious guests. Mutanda noted that December stays include a complimentary 60-minute Swedish massage, a body assessment, welcome gifts for children, and a 20 per cent discount on a one-month gym membership.

The Cluster Director affirmed the hotel’s commitment to delivering a superior holiday experience, inviting Nigerians to celebrate the season with them.
