Aemi Premium has announced a partnership with Wema Bank and Providus Bank to provide cleaner and more sustainable power to homes and businesses in Nigeria.

The collaboration, which blends innovative technology with accessible financing solutions, was unveiled at the official launch of Aemi Premium in Lagos, a statement on Sunday indicated.

The partnership aims to make AMP Solar products and home appliances available to Nigerian homes and businesses through a flexible payment scheme.

At the event, AMP unveiled several of its products, including solar panels, solar inverters, lithium batteries with up to 10 years’ warranty, energy-efficient home appliances, security cameras, and smart locks, among others. The company describes its products as its way of empowering people through access to modern, dependable power that brightens homes and nurtures a cleaner environment.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer, Samuel Williams, emphasised that AMP envisions a cleaner and more sustainable Nigeria where people have access to clean, reliable, and affordable energy through solar power solutions.

“Today, we stand at the dawn of a new era, one powered by innovation, sustainability, and partnership, committed to driving access to clean, reliable, and affordable energy through solar power solutions.

“More than 92 million of our people still do not have access to guaranteed power. Even those who do must depend on costly, noisy, and polluting generators,” he said.

This, he noted, is despite heavy investments from the government and private sectors in energy solutions over the years, yet the challenges persist.

“Our system provides consistent electricity even when the national grid fails. It will continue to ensure that power is never interrupted,” Williams added.

He pointed out that solar power is clean, renewable, and essential to Nigeria’s long-term growth. “By reducing dependence on fossil fuels and generators, we contribute to cleaner air, a quieter atmosphere, and a healthier environment.”

Beyond energy provision, the CEO emphasised that the company’s work extends beyond supplying energy; it also supports livelihoods.

“We are creating jobs across installation, maintenance, and distribution through our partnerships so that more Nigerian homeowners, entrepreneurs, and businesses can power their spaces with ease.”

New to Nigeria’s energy space, AMP already boasts over a year of successful operations in The Gambia. The CEO shared his vision to bring that same success home, creating products made for Nigerians and built to European standards.

Speaking on the partnership, Relationship Manager at Providus Bank, Onetoritsebawo Adejumo, said the aim is to ensure that homeowners and businesses are not denied the opportunity to enjoy AMP products due to a lack of finance.

“Providus Bank supports SMEs and businesses through low-interest financing schemes and other packages. So, this is one of the ways we power businesses to grow,” she said.

Meanwhile, in a bid to give AMP a recognisable brand face and strengthen its connection with customers, the organisation unveiled Dr Oluwakemisola Ogunleye, popularly known as Kem Realtor, as its brand ambassador.

“I choose to work with brands that are authentic and true to their purpose, and AMP Solar embodies exactly that,” she said.

Through this partnership and its bold vision, Aemi Premium is setting a new standard for clean energy in Nigeria, one that goes beyond lighting homes to powering dreams, livelihoods, and a more sustainable future for all.
